Laughing Glass Art Studio Glass by Eric W. Hansen
"With glassblowers for parents, manipulating molten glass has always been a fun and challenging part of my life. I began working hot glass in a torch and produced work for my parent's business for eight years as a young man. Later, in 1994, my uncle Robert Hansen passed on the art of making fine paperweights. In 1996, I started working from a furnace and learning the off-hand process. Today, it all comes together. My unusual background in glass has led to unique decorative pieces I hope you enjoy. I currently create paperweights and other works in glass from my home studio in Argyle, Texas. Thanks go to my wonderful wife, Cheryl, and my kids for their help and inspiration in this life-long endeavor." |
